Tail Blazers Legacy

My name is Jewel and I am the new owner of Tail Blazers Legacy!  I am excited to get to know the residents of Legacy and my goal is to provide holistic support for you and your pets in tandem with the best in customer service.

 

I have been a pet owner all of my life. My Morkie tripawd girl passed away a year ago which was a transition event for me.  What came out of it was an opportunity to combine two of my passions, animals and travel and I spent the past year volunteering overseas with dogs and horses. I spent six months in Costa Rica volunteering with El Refugio Costa Ballena, a dog shelter in Uvita, as well as two farms in the Santiago de Puriscal area working with dogs and horses. I was traveling with my daughter and it was an incredible experience.  

 

The last six months I spent dog sitting in Sri Lanka and traveling through Asia.  I have definitely gotten over my travel bug and I am ready to settle back down in Calgary.  I have lived in Calgary for over 20 years and raised my three kids in the deep South so have lots of ties in the neighbourhood.

 

Previous to this I owned the Booster Juice in the Stock Exchange Tower and look forward to working with a franchise that combines my passion with pets and love for service under a well recognized brand:)
