My entire life I’ve known that my true calling was working with animals! Growing up, we always had cats, and I rode horses for awhile, but didn’t get my first dog, Sasha- a Schnauzer/Pomeranian mix, until I was in High School. When she was just over a year, we started having various health problems with her, and found out from the Holistic Vet that she has wheat allergies. Thus began my personal mission to learn more about caring for my pets in all aspects.

I took a grooming course in 2004, and then groomed professionally for more than 4 years. As a groomer I realized just how many dogs out there have food related health issues, and continued to research the concept of “natural nutrition“ in pets, and how low quality foods are linked to so many of the pet health issues we see and hear about everyday. From grooming I branched out into a combination of dog psychology based training, and nutritional consults. I worked for a few different pet food related businesses, and even spent a year working for a distributor of natural pet products. All my various jobs, and years of experience in the pet industry eventually led me to realize I needed to be in a situation where I could work for myself, as well as offer guidance and education to people struggling to sort out issues with their own pets.

I bought my Tail Blazers West Edmonton location in July 2010 and am now living my dream of owning my own business while helping to improve the lives of pets and their people! My pet family now includes a purebred Pomeranian named Tessie, a Lab cross named Bobbi and a Maine Coon cat named Catty. They have all had some minor health or digestive issues that have been quickly and easily resolved through proper diet and supplementation! I love what I do, and look forward to many more years of helping animals be healthier and happier!
