MEET THE OWNERS OF TAIL BLAZERS 14TH STREET
We, Rebecca and Marybeth, are not only best friends but sisters! From day one animals have been the single most important part of our lives. We have devoted most of lives not only to our family dogs and birds, but to any other animal we could play with or save. We both went to University and graduated and ended up in the corporate world, but were not happy to say the least! Volunteering at shelters and fundraising for animal rescues was great but it didn’t feel like enough. It wasn’t until our family dog Pumpkin got sick that we realized how we wanted to help pets. Because of our lack of knowledge in pet nutrition we fed her vet food, which caused poor Pumpkin to lose her fur twice, develop permanent hypothyroidism, and nearly had her anal glands removed. Thanks to a visit to a holistic vet and a subsequent visit to Tail Blazers, we can now say Pumpkin is healthier than ever, as is her companion Joey. Both are 14 years young and doing great! The lack of public knowledge about pet food was incredibly disturbing and was instrumental in us quitting our jobs and opening Tail Blazers 14th Street. (Special thanks here to our hubbies for being so supportive!) The level of satisfaction in seeing customer’s furry family going from sickly to healthy is beyond measure!
