MEET MILENA & RYAN - OWNER OF TAIL BLAZERS INGLEWOOD
Milena and Ryan grew up on different continents but share a love andcompassion for animals. Milena spent her childhood in Bulgaria while Ryan grew up in Dawson Creek, BC and they both tried to adopt every stray animal into their homes. Surprisingly, neither of their Mothers was particularly delighted at the prospect of turning their homes into animal sanctuaries.
In 1998, they both moved to Calgary and started their separate careers in multimedia design. A few years later, they began working for the same Calgary-based company and the rest they say, is history.
Ryan then rescued a Doberman puppy and that’s when he began shopping at Tail Blazers in Inglewood. Couple of dogs and several years later, Ryan and Milena took over ownership of the store and Milena began her new career. Most days, you can find Milena at the store. She has so many regular customers, she’s started thinking of them as friends, who just happen to come in when they need pet supplies. She feels very fortunate to have met and got to know so many wonderful carried people dedicated to animals and their furry friends.
Ryan and Milena have a Doberman named Petra and German Shorthaired Pointer named Hector. You’ll run into Ryan and Hector at many sporting dog events throughout Alberta. Your dogs are always welcome at TailBlazers Inglewood. Just be careful, Milena has a weakness for puppies and might try to steal and take them home.
