Suncured alfalfa meal is the aerial portion of the alfalfa plant, reasonably free of other crop plants, weeds and mould, which has been suncured and finely ground. (AAFCO, 2003) Alfalfa is an excellent source of phytonutrients, trace minerals and vitamin K. See Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal.
