PSYLLIUM HUSK

Psyllium husk is the cleaned, dried, seed coat separated by winnowing and thrashing of the psyllium seeds. (AAFCO, 2003) Psyllium husk is an in-soluble fibre that comes from the seeds of a plant grown commercially in Europe and India. It helps improve bowel regularity and is added to food purely for fibre, as it does not contain high amounts of vitamins and minerals.
