CRACKED WHEAT
Cracked wheat is made by reducing the particle size of the whole wheat berry by cracking and grinding. (AAFCO, 2003) This is made from whole grain (non-fractionated), so it still has its nutrients in tact including protein, carbohydrates and B vitamins. Wheat however, is not very digestible and is used in lower quality foods.
